St. Louis Blues Name Current Blueliners Mike and Joann Fricke "Fan of the Week"

December 18, 2001 -- This week's "Fan of the Week" is Mike and Joann Fricke and this is why they Bleed Blue: Mike has bled blue since the Blues were established in 1967 (thus the lettering, Fan Since, and numbering, 67, on his home sweater)! Mike attended his first game on March 6, 1968 and has been a season ticket holder on and off since. He and his Mom are even part of a video that was produced during the 1968 playoffs and excerpts of the video are sometimes still show on the Jumbotron before games. Eventually Joann, his wife, developed a love for the game as well, becoming a fanatic just like Mike. They recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with family and friends in a party box at the game!
